Over the past decade, Triumph Motorcycles has truly reinvented themselves and the 2017 Triumph Bonneville Bobber is no exception. Triumph, for years had fallen off the radar but in the early 2000’s with the introduction of the 675 triple, the updated Bonneville and Thruxton, they were back. Since then, they have been pumping out some of the coolest motorcycles on the planet while retaining that vintage styling. The release of the all new production Triumph Bobber is just another win for them we believe.
The new Triumph Bobber uses the same 1200cc engnie as the T120 Bonneville but with a few upgrades. These upgrades include an updated electrics systems and new dual intake airbox which is said to increase low end torque. These upgrades have not taken away from the beauty of the Triumph engines which still retain that retro styling. The newly designed exhaust system it right in line with classic Bobber styling. Vance and Hines already has an aftermarket system in the works for increased performance.

They have also put some thought into the handling and suspension of the bike. The front forks are the same as on the T120 Bonneville, but have been shortened slight more a better stance. In the rear, it might look like a rigid frame but the rear tire is housed by a caged swingarm and the rear shock is hidden under the seat. Fox has already said they will have upgraded rear shocks available for riders looking to upgrade the suspension. Other designs on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber are the drag style handlebars, billet barend mirrors and cool stainless battery box. There is no doubt that Triumph has stepped up their game once again with the 2017 Triumph Bonneville Bobber. I think you will see some of the other manufacturers follow suit like Harley Davidson, Indian and maybe even Vitory or Yamaha.
