I remember back in 2013 when I first heard of Dustin Kott of Kott Motorcycles, I started following his builds. Being a CB350 lover, his 1969 CB350 Cafe Racer caught my attention. Simple yet very distinctive with that classic Kott styling. With it’s unique headlight / tail design and custom tank, the Kott Motorcycles CB350 Cafe Racer is still one of my favorites.
Dustin wanted that classic TT styling on the bike. To achieve this, he used a Suzuki gas tank with some modifications which give it that oversized look. The frame is basically stock with a few modifications to the tail. To finish off the tail section, Dustin hand fabricated a one off seat cowl that matches the design of the headlight fairing.
The headlight fairing is also hand fabricated. The frame, wheels and triple clamps are all powder coated in a gloss black. To contrast with the black, several parts on the bike were hand polished to a mirror finish. Dustin choose an awesome color for the bike, a deep blue that almost resembles black in certain lighting conditions. As a result, you get a stunning looking CB350 Cafe Racer with a touch of TT styling.
