Over the past year, the Ducati Scrambler has become one of their most popular models. With all the custom scramblers being built, Ducati gave the public what they demanded. A true production scrambler with endless modification possibilities. Well Ducati Thailand decided to build a scrambler showing us the potential of what this machine could be. The result is this awesome Ducati Scrambler Dirt Tracker.
Engineers at Ducati Thailand wanted that classic flat track look with true off road potential. They first started with the wheels which are aluminum wheels wrapped with knobby tires. To match the brushed aluminum wheels, the tank was stripped and finished off in a brushed aluminum with the leather side panels. A true flat track inspired brushed aluminum number plate was fabricated and houses the LED headlight. Finally, to finish off the bare metal look, they used a raw titanium exhaust system with exhaust wrap.
Power is derived from the same air-cooled v-twin 803cc engine as the production models. No modifications were made as 803cc is more then enough power to go rip up some dirt. With all the different Ducati Scrambler models being produced such as the Cafe Racer and Desert Sled, we sure hope they do a true Dirt Tracker version like this one. Be sure to check out Ducati for more information on all their new Scrambler models being released.
