Very rarely do you see a custom Suzuki GS1000 and more so in a scrambler setup. Well the Flo & Amir over at Mellow Motorcycles hailing from Germany have done just that. This stripped down and now lightweight Suzuki GS1000 Scrambler looks like a blast to ride on the pavement or dirt.
The 1980 Suzuki GS1000, was your basic standard motorcycles. Well Mellow Motorcycles has changed that. Taking the stock GS1000, they chopped the rear section off and fabricated a new tail loop. A scrambler style rear fender was installed with a new custom seat. For some added performance and looks, a stainless 4 into 1 exhaust was used with a cool looking raw tig welded muffler finishing it off.
Up front for the controls, they went with a set of scrambler style handlebars. Hand controls have been reduced to minimal functions with the Motogadget M-Switch which is one of our favorite products. Additionally, a Motogadget Motoscope Tiny Black digital speedo was used. This little unit has all the turn signal, high / low beam and oil pressure functions packed in it. CA cool new billet aluminum clutch perch and lever your used that is safety wired. This adds a cool look to the bike as well as being fully adjustable and functional.
Flo & Amir have created some stunning custom builds lately. This 1980 Suzuki GS1000 Scrambler is a perfect example of their work quality and design ideas. Be sure to head over to their website and also follow them on social media for their next project.
